Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Wildara AS uses cookies and similar technologies on wildara.no. We aim to be transparent: we use the minimum necessary cookies to keep the platform running, and nothing more.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember your preferences and session state across page loads and visits.

Cookies Wildara uses

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the platform to function. You cannot opt out of them while using the site.

  • Session cookie — keeps you logged in during your browser session. Expires when you close your browser.
  • Auth token (next-auth) — a secure, HttpOnly cookie used to authenticate your account. Expires after 30 days of inactivity.
  • CSRF token — protects against cross-site request forgery attacks. Session-scoped.

What Wildara does NOT use

We do not use:

  • Advertising or tracking cookies
  • Third-party analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Social media tracking pixels
  • Cross-site tracking of any kind

Third-party services

Wildara uses a small number of third-party services that may set cookies of their own. These are limited to essential infrastructure:

  • Vercel — our hosting provider. Vercel may set performance-related cookies to route requests. No personal data is shared.

We do not use any advertising networks, retargeting services, or social login providers that track you across the web.

Managing cookies

Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, there is no consent banner to interact with. All cookies we set are required for the site to work.

You can block or delete cookies at any time via your browser settings. Note that blocking session and auth cookies will prevent you from logging in.
