Private Wild Boar Hunting in Värmland, Sweden

Join me for a personally hosted wild boar hunting experience on private land at Värmlandsnäs, surrounded by the forests, farmland and lakeside landscape of western Sweden. The hunting takes place on the private property of my good friend and colleague Per. This is not a commercial hunting estate, but an invitation into a setting where hunting is a natural part of everyday life. Private Land and Personal Hosting Per knows the property, the animals and their movements. Together, we arrange the hunting around current wild boar activity, weather and conditions on the land. I personally host the experience and coordinate the practical arrangements before and during your stay. The combination of private access, local knowledge and a small number of guests allows the experience to remain personal and flexible. The experience requires a minimum of two hunting guests and is particularly well suited to parties of two to four. Wild Boar Hunting The hunting is organised around the movement and behaviour of free-ranging wild boar on the property. Much of the experience involves patience, observation and quiet hours in the landscape, often during the evening or night. The property has several hunting towers located within the same area. This allows guests to hunt from different positions, with the precise arrangement planned around current wild boar activity, wind, conditions and the number of hunters. Before the hunt, we discuss safety, suitable equipment, expected conditions and the practical arrangements for each guest. This is genuine hunting for wild animals. Encounters, shooting opportunities, the size of an animal and a successful harvest can never be guaranteed. Stay Close to the Hunting The property includes a newly built, heated hunting tower with two beds, electricity and simple cooking facilities. It provides a warm and comfortable base particularly close to the hunting, allowing two guests at a time to remain in the tower overnight. Several additional hunting towers are located nearby and can be used by the other hunters. For a party of four, guests may rotate between nights in the new tower, giving everyone the opportunity to experience it. Accommodation for guests who are not sleeping in the tower is arranged separately according to the agreed programme and preferred level of comfort. The tower has no indoor bathroom, but an outdoor toilet is available. Guests who prefer conventional or more refined accommodation can stay nearby while still taking part in the same private hunting experience. Food, Wine and Transport The experience can be arranged as a focused hunt or as a complete stay including accommodation, meals and transport. More Than a Trophy Hunt The possibility of encountering a strong wild boar is naturally part of the excitement. However, the experience is not presented as a fixed trophy package or a guaranteed harvest. It is an opportunity to hunt on private Swedish land, spend time with people who know the property and experience the patience, atmosphere and hospitality surrounding the hunt.
